Resin (SLA) Printing in Perth
Ultra-high detail and smooth surface finish for intricate components, display models, and precision parts.
What We Offer
High-Detail Resin Printing for Precision and Finish
Resin printing (SLA/MSLA) produces parts with significantly higher detail and smoother surface finish than FDM printing, making it the preferred method for applications where precision appearance and fine feature resolution matter. Vertex Manufacturing provides resin printing for clients requiring display-quality models, detailed prototypes, or components where surface finish is critical to function.
Resin parts require post-processing including UV curing and produce a surface finish comparable to injection-moulded quality. The level of detail achievable with resin printing is well beyond what FDM can produce, making it appropriate for jewellery casting patterns, dental applications, and any part where surface quality is the primary requirement.
We will advise during the quoting process if FDM would be a more appropriate choice for your application, particularly for load-bearing or impact-resistant parts where engineering thermoplastics outperform resin.

Use Cases
What Resin Printing Is Used For
Resin printing is the correct choice when surface quality, fine detail, and dimensional accuracy are the priority over material toughness.
Display and Presentation Models
Show-quality prototypes for client presentations or photography.
Jewellery and Casting Patterns
Castable resin patterns for lost-wax and direct casting processes.
Dental and Medical Prototypes
Biocompatible and dental-grade resins for medical device development.
Fine Mechanical Components
Parts with smooth bearing surfaces and high dimensional accuracy.
Miniatures and Detailed Models
Figurines, scale models, and decorative pieces requiring fine feature resolution.
Design Verification
High-quality physical models to verify aesthetic design before production commitment.

How It Works
How It WorksOur Process
A straightforward process from enquiry to finished part, with clear communication at every stage.
01
Submit Your File
Send your STL file or design brief. Resin printing requires a clean, watertight mesh for best results.
02
Quote and Material Selection
We confirm the most appropriate resin type for your application and issue a quote.
03
Print, Cure, and Finish
Part is printed, post-cured under UV, supports removed, and surface finished.
04
Collect or Receive
Local pickup from Wanneroo or dispatch Australia-wide.
