About Vertex
Manufacturing

A Perth-based custom manufacturing business built around precision, problem-solving, and the ability to take a project from concept through to finished component.
What We Offer
Vertex Manufacturing exists to solve manufacturing problems that others cannot, or will not, take on.

We are a custom manufacturing business based in Perth’s northern suburbs, providing injection moulding, CAD design, 3D printing, resin printing, laser cutting, and 3D scanning services to businesses, engineers, and individual clients across Perth and Australia.

Every project we take on starts with the same question: what does this person actually need? The answer shapes everything from material selection to turnaround time. We do not take a one-size-fits-all approach, because most manufacturing problems do not have one-size-fits-all solutions.

Our in-house capability spans the full journey from initial CAD design through to finished component. For projects that require processes beyond our direct capacity, we manage the complete pathway through trusted partners, keeping a single point of contact throughout.

How We Started

From 3D Prints Wanneroo to Vertex Manufacturing

Vertex Manufacturing grew out of 3D Prints Wanneroo, a small local 3D printing service focused on custom parts and personalised items for the Perth community. As the capability and client base expanded, it became clear that the business had outgrown both the name and the scope it implied.

Vertex Manufacturing was established to reflect what the business had become: a broader precision manufacturing operation with end-to-end capability across multiple processes. The rebrand was not cosmetic. It reflected a genuine shift in the nature of the work, the clients being served, and the problems being solved.

The foundation built through years of custom fabrication, from single replacement parts to batch production runs, continues to shape how we approach every project. The same commitment to precision and direct communication that defined the early work applies to every job we take on today, regardless of scale.

How We Work

Our Approach

We approach every project as a problem to be solved rather than an order to be filled. These are the principles that shape how we work.

Understand Before Producing

We review every enquiry before quoting to ensure the proposed process and material will actually solve the problem. If a different approach would produce a better outcome, we say so before production starts, not after.

Design for the End Use

Every part we design or produce is evaluated against its intended application. Material selection, print settings, and geometry are all considered in the context of how the part will actually be used in the real world.

Communicate Directly and Clearly

You communicate with the person doing the work, not with an intermediary. We provide clear updates without needing to be followed up, and we tell you when something is not going to work rather than letting you find out later.

Move at the Speed the Job Requires

Not every job needs to be urgent, and not every client has the luxury of waiting. We match our pace to your requirement and are clear about timelines upfront so you can plan accordingly.

What We Do

Six core service areas covering the full manufacturing pathway. Each links through to a dedicated service page with full technical detail. This is not the limit of what we can provide; if you have a project that requires something more, get in touch and we will ensure we have a solution.

Production-grade plastic components. Short-run prototype batches via in-house 3D printed tooling, through to full hard-tooled production volumes. DFM guidance included.
